Monthly release notes - March 2021
The latest CPRD data includes the following:
- Total number of patients (de-duplicated): 60,418,404
- Currently registered research acceptable patients (de-duplicated): 16,393,422
- Patients eligible for linkage: 44,654,303
These data are provided as two separate primary care databases at present.
CPRD GOLD
The latest version of the CPRD GOLD database is now available and contains the following:
- Total number of research acceptable patients: 19,723,490
- Currently registered research acceptable patients: 3,093,596
- Patients eligible for linkage: 9,209,819

COVID-19 feasibility counts
Feasibility counts of COVID-19 codes in CPRD Aurum and CPRD GOLD include the following in the period from 2 December 2019 to 28 February 2021:
- 3,977,556 unique patients with SARS-COV-2 codes
- 9,667,340 unique SARS-COV-2 events
