The latest set of linkage data (set 17) is now available for use in research studies.
There has been an increase in the coverage periods for many of the linked data sources and inclusion of:
- newly linked National Cancer Registration and Analysis Service (NCRAS) Quality of Life of Cancer Survivors data
- additional small area data linked to the patient postcode: Carstairs Index 2011, Index of Multiple Deprivation domains and the Rural Urban Classification.
Linkage data is available for patients from 411 CPRD GOLD contributing practices (based on the Vision software system) and 800 CPRD Aurum contributing practices (based on EMIS software).
Further information about Set 17 and how CPRD provides routine data linkages between primary care and other health-related patient datasets is available on our Linked data web page.
